Introduction
These terms govern your use of Golden State Taxi's transportation services, this website and its booking form (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Booking requests
When you submit a booking through this website or by phone, you are making a request for transportation. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and to our confirmation, which we send by email. Please allow a minimum of 45 minutes before your pick up time when booking online.
Prices
Prices are quoted rather than metered. Call or text us for a price before you travel. Any estimate given before a trip is an approximation only; the final price may vary with the route taken, waiting time, traffic conditions and any extra stops. Tolls, parking and airport fees are charged in addition where they apply.
Cancellations
Please cancel a pre-booked trip as early as you can by calling or texting us. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for bookings canceled with insufficient notice or for no-shows.
Safety and conduct
All passengers must wear seatbelts. The driver may refuse service to any passenger who appears to be intoxicated to the point of being unable to care for themselves, who behaves abusively, or whose conduct puts the safety of the vehicle or its occupants at risk. Smoking is not permitted in our vehicles.
Payment
Payment is due at the end of the trip unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash, credit cards and debit cards; choose your method on the booking form. Where a payment is declined you remain liable for the amount due.
Limitation of liability
While we strive to provide reliable and timely service, we cannot guarantee that the Services will be available at all times or will meet your specific requirements. Golden State Taxi shall not be liable for delays or failures resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control; items left in our vehicles (although we will make reasonable efforts to return found items); or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity. Our maximum liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the amount paid for the specific trip giving rise to the claim.
Lost property
We are not responsible for items left in our vehicles. If you believe you have left something behind, contact us immediately. If it is found we will make reasonable efforts to return it, and may charge a reasonable fee for doing so based on time and distance.
Accessibility
Please tell us about any special requirements when booking so that we can make appropriate arrangements.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. The revised terms take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Services after a change indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
